Some of my highlights

I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University), a Master of Education (TRU), and a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology (UVic). I am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA, #11252460), and a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist.

Kamloops residents may recognize me from Thompson Rivers University (TRU), where I completed the Master of Education program, then worked as a Graduate/Undergraduate Tutor, a Student Recruiter-Advisor and a Program Advisor. In my previous career supporting youth living with Autism, I developed a passion for the counselling field and the drive to pursue it. I bring complementary educational backgrounds and career experiences to my work as a clinical counsellor and look forward to helping my clients meet their goals.

I have experience providing clinical services to youth and adult clients coping with various mental health and systemic concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, and relationship breakdown. I have also supported clients living with diagnosed or suspected neurodiversity , such as Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, FASD, Intellectual and Learning disabilities. I focus on creating a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship where others can feel safe and accepted for who they are. I truly believe that clients are the experts of their lives and that my role is to offer a safe and confidential space to follow their lead through our work together. I approach counselling through trauma-informed, client-centered, and internal family systems (IFS) perspectives.

As a therapist and person, I am committed to equity and advocacy. When I am not working, you may find me buried in a good book, cycling, spending time with friends and family, practicing photography, watching movies, or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
